    Giving kudos

So I'm at the RTR, my first and my first staying in the van. I'm finding it much more challenging than I thought. Oh, I knew it wouldn't be easy but I didn't factor in how much we take for granted in S&B living like walking upright. I'm not sure I have what it takes to live in a van, the pain is...

Women Only: Missed part of orientation

And the part I made I couldn't hear. So I'm asking if anyone knows where we are supposed to dump our trash and toilet... I'm in a van no grey/black tanks. Sorry to ask but I went into town and took care of what I had but it seemed inappropriate to dump toilet contents (even bagged) in a...

    1 cup pour over

Arrived Wednesday and Thursday when I got up I was wanting my coffee but couldn't find the pour over dealybop ... I improvised to make a foil cone using a cone filter and was surprised to find it made a decent cup of coffee.

    Where did I put it?

Arrived at the RTR yesterday. I'm amazed how easy it is to lose things in a van ... Chuckle. 4 times now I've misplaced my glasses just this morning alone ... Strikes me as funny. 8+)

    Individual camp fires

It's the ambiance ... Rekindles childhood memories for some. Making sense is sometimes the last thing to do. Of course, practicality prevails usually but the occasional campfire cooked breakfast is delicious. No, I'm not having a campfire at the RTR ...

Women Only: No screen on windows in van

I have tilt windows but the pillow case idea would definitely work for the front windows. Thanks for the idea.

Women Only: No screen on windows in van

I bought a roll of screening thinking I could use magnets to hold the screen to the metal on the door around the windows - must have purchased cheap magnets because they didn't hold.  Any suggestions? Thought about double sided removable clear tape but that might be pricy ... any of you ladies...

    Women Only: Breathe, breathe, breathe....

Me too!  6 days and counting for my departure.  Having work done on the van today and then I can start packing it and organizing it.  Still haven't slept in it as it's just too darned cold at night but I'll have to on the road.  Nothing makes it work better than having to make it work!  chuckle ...

    No sugar challenge?!

I've been off sugar for a little over a month ... sweets are my downfall for sure as well as carbs, been cutting back on both those items with the occasional cheat.  Some days I really miss it but most days I don't (after the first couple of days).  My best friend lives in Omaha and she said...

    Anxiety and the RTR

I'm nervous ... I'm an early riser with an old dog that goes out frequently, I'm worried about closing my van doors at 4:30 am after she goes out (old van hard to close doors) ... I'm coping by just getting there and hoping that I can find a place close to the "action" and yet far enough away...
