I've been off grid for the last 9 years and of all of the heating options the one that I keep using is the Chinese heaters..no smells, heat start from inside the warm covers and pretty easy to install and or replace..I mount them inside as a permanet thing and much better then having to take...

I've discovered a unique way to keep my van considerably COOLER.

The factory tint is just for privacy, the silver reflective actually stops 95% of the heat coming in I put it on all my rigs an found a marked difference in temps...I also put in a 14 inch fan with thermostat controlled on/off switch on my back window and it works pretty well

Keeping the cargo trailer warm safely?

OK I'll try to answer what I can..in a diesel heater there is basically 2 air sustems..1 the air for combustion in the sealed chamber which comes from the pipe from the bottom by the exhaust and the fuel and 2 the air intake for the heating element that comes from the large hole in the back of...

I want to watch T.V in my van...

What kind of range are you getting with the omnidirectional antenna 1-10 miles 10-20 or even more? I have a directional antenna which is great on my stationary RV but the omnidirectional one would be much easier when travelling in my van if it can pull a good distance
