I visit national parks a lot, and the visitor centers almost always have spigots with potable water outside. City parks are another good source if you're closer to civilization.

Lynnwood is right next to Edmonds, and from there you can take the ferry over to Kingston (~$14 each way) and then drive over to the Olympic Peninsula, which is an incredibly beautiful part of the state and country!

Those are interesting videos. Thanks for sharing. I don't think a 13000-mile route like you mentioned is necessary; just go north in the summer and south in the winter. A much easier way to move with the weather without doing a ton of driving is to move up and down in elevation. In places like...
