    One additional thing I forgot!!

Thank you DannyB1954.  Yes, storage is always an issue, and I do appreciate your input about sewing some additional insulating material to the reflectix.  Good idea!!

Choosing the right van/rv for me - Help pls?

Thank you Steamjam1, that is really helpful information.  I'm not planning on any rock crawling, etc, either, but was concerned about the big divots in dirt roads (which I do know to do my best to avoid!).  And I guess a small one would not be too difficult to drive ...  Take Care!

Choosing the right van/rv for me - Help pls?

Hi TrainChaser:  Wow, was laughing out loud until I read about the boy dying, so sad.  But it's good to hear that I don't need 4WD for 'regular' boondocking.  What type of vehicle are you referring to when you said 'regular rig'?  And who has a 22' limit for motorhomes?  And overall, vans can...

Choosing the right van/rv for me - Help pls?

Hi again, Beth:  I have seen your video before!  I have watched most of those I.N. videos, but I'm glad you directed back to them, as I had forgotten some thing - like your set up, which I really liked the first time around and even more so now.  Great job!  Hope you are well:  Lisa

    One additional thing I forgot!!

Hi All:  I forgot to mention in my previous post for guidance:  I'd like your opinions on a Sportsman pop-top camper.  Mainly I'm concerned about heating it in colder weather.  I won't be in sub-zero temps, or anything close to that, but low 50's in the mornings or occasional daytimes.  Has...

Choosing the right van/rv for me - Help pls?

Hi All: I'm having so much trouble deciding which vehicle will be the best for my needs and top wants!  Two #1 priorities:  I'd like to stand up in the vehicle (I'm 5'9") and I'd like to be able to drive down not so great dirt roads to go boondocking.  Those Sprinter/Transit/Nissan high roof...

Last one for now - phew!

Thank you, very smart way to get me realizing and thinking about how much electricity I'll want to use.

Do you use something like that re-insulated cooler?  Looks like a great idea!  And way cheaper than an electric fridge ...

Awesome idea for the pressure cooker.  Why didn't I think of that?!

I THREW MY PORTA POTTY IN THE DUMPSTER

Bob:  what exactly is dispersed camping?  I've heard you say frequently, perhaps in videos for RTRs "we'll be dispersed camping".  Why does HDR say Death Valley is the only place that allows dispersed camping.  And what's up with the regulations about portapotties or kitty litter gadgets?  I...

I THREW MY PORTA POTTY IN THE DUMPSTER

I too want to go with the 'deal with it one at a time, and only mine' routine.  But:  where do you put the bagged business until you get to a garbage can if you're camping somewhere that doesn't have trash facilities?  I'll be out on the road with a few family members soon, so it could add up...

Cargo Van vs Passenger Van Pros/Cons

I would love to see your set-up.  I looked at your blog but can't find an index.  Is there a posting that shows all your cozy custom comforts?  Thank you.

Cargo Van vs Passenger Van Pros/Cons

Big T: What is a headliner and what is the difference between regular car windows and RV/camper windows?  Thanks.

Last one for now - phew!

Ah, PopEye!  You're here too! And those inverters (?) - the things that convert 12 volt to AC, do they use energy too?  I'm wondering, if I have an appliance that I really would like to use on the road, say for example, a Crock Pot (don't laugh), which says on the bottom of the appliance it uses...

Charging the House battery while driving

Hi Big T:  Well, I don't know a lot about the electrical use/needs part yet, I'm still trying to figure it all out, so here's a maybe too simplistic question:  I really like the idea of one simple battery, but would that type of battery, the Northstar, run a small 12 volt refrigerator for say...
