Thanks MikeRuth,
That battery tray mounted under the van is really cool. I'm going with lead acid batteries so I'd prefer to keep the batteries outside the trailer.
After testing with a pickup toolbox I found I could only add a battery box about 31" wide on the travel trailer a-frame. Turning such that the travel trailer and truck were parallel would result in a wider battery box being crushed. I tried to find an off the shelf box which would fit the 4 6V...
I was watching a video by YouTuber's Technomadia. In the video they talked about using an IP camera in their rig pointed at a thermometer. You should be able to access such a camera by connecting it to the Internet. If Internet service is not available from your phone (if you have a cell...
Thanks AJ452,
I was concerned about that as well. A contractor said he had to attach red flags to his ladder if it extended too far beyond the rear or front of his van but I did not remember the distance.
Thanks highdesertranger,
Great idea. If the refrigerator vent is bolted down I might try that. I'd prefer cutting from the rear of the panel to minimize the potential for cutting wires.
Thanks Weight & wagoneer ,
I'm guessing the chimney does get hot but I've read that many people run wires in through the refrigerator vent. I was hoping to insert the two outlets on the panel left of the rear panel - see attached image. My thought is with the rear panel removed I could run...
Attached is an image from above my refrigerator in my Coleman CTS192. There is a wood strip from which I removed four screws. My hope was I could remove that strip and the panel behind to get to wires dropped down from the roof refrigerator vent and access DC/AC wiring from the power...
I'd like to attach a cargo carrier to the rear of my travel trailer but I'm not finding any requirements on the maximum dimensions or lighting requirements. I'm thinking if it extends a particular distance from the rear of the trailer I may need lighting (running, turn, and brake lights).
I'd...
Thanks LoupGarou and rvpopeye,
Upgrading the existing bathroom vent and adding a register to the bathroom door or simply cutting a bit off the bottom of the door could potentially take care of reduced airflow. One reason I wanted to add the extra vent was to have two Fan-Tastic vents running...
Thanks VanKitten,
Sounds like I should pull the existing bathroom fan bezel. From there I can probably run a dow over to a probing drill hole. Using the dow and drill hole I can ensure there is nothing blocking the wire's path from the existing to new fan. Sounds like this could work :)...
