    A video Attempt

Thanks. The singer is Dave Vanian (Dave Vanian and the Phantom Chords) - an English rockabilly band from the '90s. They have heaps of good music BTW. PS, Todd is the big mouth guy

    Boy this is sweet

    Wow, that's a deal breaker. Like a class A

yeah, by Spring I'll have enough cake saved and I'll go looking. It will be all dreaming and envying everyone out there in the desert until then.

    Boy this is sweet

I hadn't thought about that. I wonder how people get around it with schoolies, etc. Could you build it out and then get an RV tag?

    Boy this is sweet

Thinking about what my next build will be. Going to trade the trailer for a van.  I saw this on CL. What a sweet looking van. Nice size and some headroom, plus all those windows have little slider windows on top.  Hopefully I can find something like it when I'm ready to buy.  It's 10 grand...

    A video Attempt

Brad, I decided to go back to work for another year or so. I can collect S.S. in 16 months and then I'll head out again full time. Most likely sell the trailer and go with a van this time. As far as liking mobile living, my 6 month trip was a trial before diving in full time, but it was the best...

    A video Attempt

I had a go at putting some photos and clips from the road into a video. I actually have hundreds of pics but just chose a few. Tons of goof-ups (Natchez TRACE - duh) but by the time I had spent hours trying to learn the program I was too lazy to redo it. Anyway here it is.

    Printers. Do you carry one?

I brought my printer with me, but the one time I needed it (when I renewed my registration online and had to print a temp one) my jets had dried out. Still haven't gotten it working though I replaced all the ink. Epson printers by the way, won't even print in black if one of the colors is low...

    State Fair

I live very close to The Big E (all all New England states fair). I love it just because it is one of the few things that is a constant. Apart from a large order of freshly cut fries, I don't spend much more than the admission (15 bucks). I like the cattle and horse events, free shows (this...

Hurricane Harvey - My Rebuild Concept

I was talking to one of the locals in Cameron, Louisiana. He told me that During Hurricane Rita the entire area was inder 12 feet of water. After the flood, people rebuilt their houses on 15 foot pillions, however the cost of construction was so high that few could afford to and just left and...

How do you deal with ANGER !

Here's something I do. I pick a random Craigslist somewhere in the country and post a long rambling rant in the 'Rants and Raves' section and never go back to see the responses, if any. Usually by the time I have it posted, I'm not even angry anymore. I do the same when I get hit with a bout...

    Make America Great

I used to watch that show 'American Pickers' and loved the colorful old characters with acres of 'treasures' that they couldn't bear to part with. In reality, those old guys will be dead in 10 years, leaving behind large tracts of land strew with piles of things that no one will ever want, and...

    Make America Great

Ok, fair enough, but it is still not uncommon for people in some areas to use the woods or banks on their property as dumps - everything goes back there (washers, tires, sofas. cars) - out of sight, out of mind.  Should there be no ordinance against that kind of dumping since it's their own...

    Make America Great

Yes, that is common in countries where there hasn't been an emphasis on litter.  I go back to the pre-70's when we were less aware as well. Few people remember when there was hardly a waterway in the country where it was safe to eat the fish, or that you could hardly touch a surface in any city...
