I haven't tried this yet, but in theory you could have streaming capabilities at home and on the road for about $50 with an unlimited verizon plan.   The Zubie plugs into your OBD-II port and creates a wifi hot spot that is fast enough to stream.   Insiders at verizon tell me currently they are not deprioritizing downloading limits because they expect the average mobile user not to stream too much.   What if you could set up an OBD port in your home properly powered and have a wifi hotspot at home and in your vehicle? Then you could eliminate home internet. The problem as I see it is that the zubie needs to be fooled into thinking it is still connected to a vehicle to create a streamable hot spot.

Anyone try this?

Mobely is $20 a month and throttled at 26 gigs IF and only when you're on a high traffic tower/time of day.
