I'm trying to decide on a van that has a big enough interior to let me customize to my liking (sort of like an RV ) But still keep that "stealthy" aspect of it.
I would like to be able to park anywhere cars can park, such as in normal parking spaces without needing to take up extra room or draw more attention to myself.
I am trying to decide between an Astro LS van or a Dodge Promaster.

This will be my first stealth van and i'll be buying it some time in 2016 after my 16th birthday.
I would like to be able to fit a good fridge, inside security system that monitors the outside, a bed, a portable stove, and some other things in it.
I basically want a van that i will be able to live comfortably in but not draw any unwanted attention to me if i decided to sleep somewhere like in an empty parking lot or something sometime in the future.

Can someone help me decide on a van? Also if you have more van suggestions that meet my needs, please leave the name down below.

I started a thread in the recent past asking the same question... you should check that out...

Basically opinions vary, but I don't think the promaster is very stealthy at all, I think they really stand out... that could change in the future, but there aren't many of them out there and they are unique looking...

Being distinctive is a negative especially in residential areas. It would still work in industrial and business areas where it would look like a delivery vehicle. I might avoid residential areas, but everywhere else it will be fine.

ProMasters haven't been around very long, so there are probably very few on the used market, and they won't be much less expensive than new ($29K for the bottom of the line one new). Though an Astro is way more cramped than a full sized van, they have excellent stealth potential. A passenger version (with blacked out side windows) can look totally appropriate just about anywhere.
