We stayed at Desert Diamond Casino(Tucson) last night, as it's close to my VA clinic.
I have a vets Tribute card that gives 10 bucks free play each month. As I have mentioned before, I give those to Margie since she usually wins something and I don't care that much about gambling.
I went in for the restroom, and on my way out I stuck a dollar in a $1 machine. First spin paid a buck. Second spin, zilch...third spin, $92

I cashed out and left...be damned if I was gonna give the money back

I don't know that it's about being strong...I'm a tightwad.
Gambling to me is throwing good money after bad. I would rather gamble on the next mile down the road.

Last week I had my last Dr appointment, so as usual, we stayed at the casino. Margie had a few single dollars she played on her fave machine and ended up cashing out with $13.55.
Coming out of the restroom, I stuck a dollar in a 5¢ machine. It kept paying and hit a big one that racked up over $200. I cashed out!!
Margie handed me her $13.55 ticket and I fed into the one armed bandit. The darned thing began to pay off again.
Below are the 2 tickets I took to the cashier before buying dinner and leaving with the booty...

We added another solar panel for a total of 300W and I see a new set of deep cycle GCs in our near future (when we get to Flagstaff) to replace the old 12V ones.
