No. They were consideredd "Middle Class" both social and economic. (nearly extinct as pictured above) Today you have a better paid bluecollar working class more often in their place. IMOP

Crazy wealthy when you consider the cost of housing in my opinion! Seems to me you would own outright and maintain a million dollar home a couple new vehicles a bunch of toys and still have no problems paying all bills. The main expense would be if you didn’t listen to your trainer and became unhealthy! Definitely money would have to be making money and supporting tax breaks again in my opinion.
