I can't find a forum here to ask this question so will ask it here. Where is the QUOTE button when replying to someone's message? Someone other than the OP? If I click on the # such as #3 or #whatever, all I get as a choice is "Show Single Post."

I disabled the quote button again as it is being over-used. There are threads in the "read this stuff first" section that explain why. It is spring and I want to play outside, not trimming unnecessary quotes :)

Sorry. Don't know why the link breaks. Can't seem to copy and paste it. Can anyone else do it? I just bumped the thread, RV Kitty. Did you see it?

Copy and paste takes up the same amount of room. It is very easy to follow a thread even without quotes. I would like to allow quotes for those rare times when it is beneficial, but since some people insist on using it all the time for entire previous posts or even to reply to posts directly above their response, I had to disable it.

You can also start your response with the name of the person you are responding to. There are several suggestions in those 2 threads about quotes. You have questioned this before, so I expected you were aware of them.

You are right, other forums are often different. We do our best here. We hope to be making upgrades in the future so please bear with us! We will be looking for input from everyone when that time comes!

@RVKitty:
The parenthesis throws it off...

@twokniveskatie:
I still think you guys should dump this host/forum for vbulletin (fee but sometimes included in hosting) or phpboard (free), even if it means manually archiving posts. But i'm down with whatever you guys do as long as I gets ma vandwelling forum on

This example is brought to you by the letter @

OK... I just wondered. We can always use the person's name or C&P to reply and avoid confusion.
