Mine cuts out in the morning, usually before Daybreak

Just loaded a different app on my Verizon Android Tablet. It shows the closest Verizon tower to be just east of Rice Ranch which is near the intersection of hwy 95 and I-10.

That means LaPosaNorth is the closest LTVA area to that tower.

The app I got was Network cell info lite. Quick to instal, easy to use and gives signal strength plus map page showing the toower the signal is coming from

If you go down to exit 5 on I-10, Tom Wells Rd, there's a Chevron on the north side of the road. Behind the Chevron, there are two cell towers. I get 5 bars of Verizon there on Visible. It's not fast (on Visible) but it's a good signal. There is BLM land on both the north and south sides of I-10 on Tom Wells Rd. Exit 5 is west of Quartzsite and east of Ehrenberg. The Chevron is a truck stop so there's plenty of room to pull off into their lot and do some work

Dome rock BLM is near a verizon tower that is up on the top of a. Mountain.

The problem with cell signals in QZT is clogged bandwidth. Too many people trying to use it at once, so even a strong signal is slow. A booster doesn't help in that situation. Fewer people this winter because of no Canadians, so it might be slightly better.

Our Mighty WiF uses the AT&T towers.........we get Netflix X2 OK...........no speed awards

My Verizon phone signal is nearly DEAD out here...........

Maybe not so many people use the AT&T network, as those who use the Verizon network.

If one needs to be connected reliably, having access to two different networks is a good idea.

Wait a couple of months, the network should be working better then. :)

My first two weeks, I was located at La Posa South and wasn't able to do anything useful, except text and receive calls. I scouted around and found great reception at La Posa North, without a booster. I moved my rig here and using my hotspot I've had no problems. One word of advice, a good booster system is expensive. You should research the options on the market and get some pros and cons before sinking $500 + into a system that might disappoint you.

thanks all! I drove east on Kuehn Road, and I did get 4 bars across the road from La Posa North. It's good to know.

Someone's tower is at the southwest corner of Main and 95.

I am pretty sure that is the Verizon tower right along hwy 95 heading from the south to the north towards I-10. Just before you get to I-10 on the right hand-- east side of 95 there are a couple of billboards advertising McDonalds, the one furtest south has a cell tower close by Not a super tall tower though so you might not have paid much attention to it when you saw it.

There is one on top of Guadalupe Mtn just east of Quartzsite next to the freeway. Nice view from up there. There is also good service in places on the Bouse side of the hills for both Verizon and Sprint.
