boy, another 4x4 van. I guess you haven't read the other threads on 4x4 vans. there are 2 other recent ones. I would recommend against any 4x4 conversion, why, because you are going to have special custom made parts that are not available at any parts store anywhere. what do you want a 4x4 for? to get out in the sticks, what happens if you break one of those custom parts far away from anywhere?
now on top of that it's a Ford 6.0 diesel, aka Ford's blowup motor. 6.0's have several design flaws. just do a search. highdesertranger

Get a small trailer and buy on of those 4 wheel small ride around things, quigley is for sure a hi-bred conversion and asking you to open your wallet wide.
Just go to the http://www.aluminess.com/ford/ web site $1200 or a tire carrier 1800 for a bumper this will add up quickly

The more research I do the more I am going to not go with a 4x4 conversion. Thanks guys

I am glad you came to that conclusion. while I like the look of 4x4 vans, it ends there. highdesertranger
