Ya know something, that never occurred to me. I'm a "snorer" from way back and I'm told that I'm not overly loud. But I suppose at night&nbsp;in a quiet area snoring could become an issue. I wonder if adding more insolation might make escaping sounds like snoring less noticable from outside the&nbsp;van?<br /><br />I wonder!!!&nbsp;

Try those nose strips. They are suppose to help.<br /><br />If nobody is there to hear you, then you don't snore.<br /><br />HMMMM...new invention, snoring silencer to wear at night.

I'm not sure which is worse---someone thinking your van is occupied or thinking it's vacant.&nbsp; A blogger I know had his RV broken into twice last winter while he was sleeping in it.

Oh Sh*t!!!! (budgets an extra $500 for van insulation/ soundproofing) I'm in TROUBLE!!!! <img src="/images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif" alt="" align="absmiddle" border="0" /><br /><br />On a serious note, I've been told by someone in a position to know that the nose strips DO help quite a bit. The neighbors stopped complaining, at least <img src="/images/boards/smilies/sleep.gif" alt="" align="absmiddle" border="0" /><br /><br />@Saraphim- The pit girl I had riding shotgun in my truck for 10 years would have approved that sign... with a small change of gender. OMG she could snore! <img src="/images/boards/smilies/tongue.gif" alt="" align="absmiddle" border="0" /><br />That said, she only got REALLY cranky once, when some Gomer decided to try my truck's driver side door while I snoozed at a rest stop. That was 15 years ago and he may STILL be cleaning the poop out of his pants....

I looked at a&nbsp;product called <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Snore Stop</span> at WM and wondered if anyone has used it or something similar.&nbsp; According to the directions, you shake the bottle and then spray once under the tongue and once on the back of the throat before going to bed.&nbsp;Each bottle contains&nbsp;enough sprays to last 30 days if used daily. Supposedly, this stuff shrinks the tissue in the mouth and throat that restricts air flow when breathing. Might be worth a try.&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="http://www.snorestop.com/product_details.cfm?id=10&amp;catid=1">http://www.snorestop.com/product_details.cfm?id=10&amp;catid=1</a><br /><br />The company makes several other anti-snore products, but WM had only the 60 Extinguisher version.

<p>I used to snore very loudly and later found out I had sleep apnea.&nbsp; With the CPAP machine running, you cannot hear it and the snoring is gone.&nbsp; In this case, the snoring was a symptom of a bigger problem.</p><p>V.T.</p>

I'm gonna get the Snore Stop and test it on my DW, who can raise the dead when she snores. We have separate bedrooms at home so the only time it bothers me is when we're in our camper or a motel.&nbsp;Last time we slept in the same room I stuck kleenex tissue in my ears and had my portable white noise machine turned up high and still had a miserable night. I, of course, do not snore.<img src="/images/boards/smilies/cool.gif" alt="" align="absMiddle" border="0" />&nbsp;We plan to visit our new grandson in Dallas in a couple of weeks and stay in a motel. We'll give the Snore Stop a try and I'll report back on&nbsp;how&nbsp;well it&nbsp;worked, if at all.

simple answer to a complex question... have two magnetic signs made up to advertise you transport "large exotic animals"... Make up a fake phone number, license number, email and company name...<br /><br />Put them on either side of your van and I guarantee you will not be messed with... I say BS to stealth, baffle em' with BS...<br /><br />

When I get over two hundred pounds I have a snoring problem. Let me rephrase that - my WIFE has a snoring problem lol. &nbsp;When I diet and get my weight back down, the snoring stops.<br /><br />Nose strips did not help. Nor did sprays.<br /><br />
