Lately, an empty cul-de-sac just off I-95 in North Carolina. An impromptu dumping ground for resting truckers. Everything lit by a huge neon Golden Corral sign at night. Need ear plugs to sleep, with all the noise.

Spent two weeks here in late September/early October of this year.  This is in the Sawtooth mtns. in Idaho on the Salmon river.  The crowds were gone and day temps were nice.  This is the view I had every day from my chair and sleeping was great with the rushing water noise (even with the doors closed).  There was a dusting in the mtns. when we left.
