Hi Guys
I will be leaving April 1, 2019, and hoping to stay in the New England/ Upstate New York area till next Winter which shouldn't be a problem for me. However, I need to be within a 10-hour drive from Western Massachusetts so I can help my Elderly Mother if something happens. I don't mind the cold and have worked out how to stay warm in freezing weather but my goal is to be in an area that might be 50's during the day & the '30s at night I work on the road so I can pretty much go anywhere but would prefer an Urban area for work and a rural area for weekends, my rig setup is such that I can Urban or Country Boondock and I've done both. If you guys have any suggestions that would be great.

No one, alas, can predict the weather, so I can't say how the winter will be. But I did stay at Plattsburg, on Lake Champlain in upstate NY, and had a great time there. Lots to see and do within a short drive time, especially if you like historical stuff. Everything from Fort Ticonderoga to the US Navy's Submarine Museum in Groton CT. And Boston isn't very far away.

You will most likely have to head South to the Carolinas to get constant weather in the 50s.
