Thanks for any information on an easier way to get the water from the source to the storage!

looks like an $8 siphon tube. i guess that copper thing is some kind of one way valve to get it started?

anyhow, not a lot of use unless you are moving water down hill

that is a siphon tube. I have one, only mine is not a hf, mine is from the Australian company that mass marketed these. don't know if they held the patent, but for years you could only get it from them. highdesertranger
p.s. it's kinda hard to siphon water from a creek.
