Hello, if any vandweller, happens to be in the area of sioux lookout ontario, in Canada. PM me and come for a visit. Experience the bush life, have some bannock, learn some edible plants and berries, learn about some native medicine, and about ancient wisdom, for example; how to predict weather, how to know when certain berries are ready for picking, because of certain insects having reached a certain age, etc etc.....

This is no scam, I enjoy teaching some things about my culture, and obviously its free.
My culture and traditions are free for all men. I also want to make some vandwelling friends so when I start on my travel adventures I have a few good connections.

I love the bush, and the wildlife, my father raised me 10 years in the wilderness, and teaching me about survival, it is a passion that I want to share.

I would so love to have the opportunity. You are too far away. Maybe someday. We are fortunate you made this offer. If ever you write a book and want someone (free) to illustrate it with wildlife and plants and herbs, please consider me, I would be honored.
Dragonfly

Yes, support is great. I always just figured vandwellers to travel far places. In may I crossed the border and drove all the way to california, just to see the beaches, and a few weeks ago I got back from alberta.

20 hours away from me. Could be done with enough money for fuel. I'm still stuck here for about a year if all goes well.

I rode a motorcycle up to WaWa some years back. You anywhere near that area??

Georgeous country!!

Yep, about 1780 miles for me. Would love to make the trip. Never been to that part of Canada before. Been to Toronto and Quebec back in the 70s though.

sioux lookout is nine hours from wawa, but it is along a breathtaking scenic route. of waterfalls, cliffs, giant mountain like hiils, and wild animals like crazy.

You're making the area sound interesting. We just got back last week from bumming around Alaska and the Yukon area. Perhaps I can talk DW into another trip soon. Just won't let her drive through customs, though. Everytime she did, it was a PIA...

...I told her she must look suspicious or something.

It's kinda strange when I look at a map I see all these lines and shapes but when I get there and look on the ground I do not see any lines. Who imposes these and what do they mean? Not a big fan of fences and lines.
