There are just no long term safety studies for mRNA use in millions of "healthy" individuals.  Two recent preliminary science papers describe a mechanism by which the mRNA "vaccines" can program cells to make prions which could result in prion-like neurological consequences. Symptoms of spongiform encephalopathy or mad cow disease happen from areas of the brain being "eaten up", shutting down neurons, and stroke symptoms can be the first symptoms. Prions are misfolded proteins (polymorphic) which spread like a seed crystal to other proteins and alters these other proteins (turns them to mush) throughout the brain. By the time someone shows symptoms, death is nigh, and there is no possible cure, it is 100% fatal. It would be a delayed or binary reaction. It only takes one prion to engage the disease without reversal.  Basically it looks like when the mRNA forces your cells to make certain pieces of the virus,  it causes it to fold into prion configurations. 
Since as Fauci said, the mRNA shot does not prevent infection or transmission, it is only experimental, these other factors become manifold in importance even in their preliminary states, in forming a decision to participate in the clinical trial (which all recipients are doing whether they realize it or not).

Except my brain turned to mush after reading this thread. Sorry to hear that also happened to Tiggy, since we are posting only from personal experience on here. I have not heard of any others falling victim to the dreaded mush brain side effect of mRNA vaccine. 

Something is definitely wrong if you can't laugh about mush brain. I also heard that mush brain commonly affects Iditarod racers, and is only cured for a short time after the race before it sets in again. Mush brain is also known to affect the Husky dog breed used for racing, makes the dogs run faster becoming so competitive they will outrun all other dogs.

Just so you know, we are laughing with you, not at you. If you decide to get the vaccination that is great. If you decide not to get the vaccination, just come to Yuma where Border Patrol is dumping people from many nations daily who carry various diseases from other parts of the world. You can easily get your infection first hand, no worries. If you survive then you are immune, isn't that great.

Taking this experimental shot as a participant in this clinical trial, should be something done with huge amounts of research and soul-searching, not in a scurried frenzy.  This should include looking at the over 40,000 Adverse Drug Reaction Events (ADREs) on FDA's VAERs, with over 3,000 deaths, in just the USA since 12-14-20, which FDA has failed to survey and follow as a required part of this phase of clinical trial.  https://medalerts.org/vaersdb/  You can put in your own search terms for the COVID19 vaccine adverse events.  Again, FDA is supposed to be tabulating and following up on these ADREs (assumed at 10% reportage), it is a requirement of the human trials, but FDA has utterly failed to do so, though it does post VAERS as its tracking site.
And again, as Fauci states, it does not confer immunity nor does it prevent spread.  It reduces severity of at least one symptom (which is the definition of effectiveness in the studies).
And again, mRNA/rDNA have never been used before as this, and there is no long term safety data, and the manufacturers are fully indemnified, and there is no possible way to reverse or remediate these genetic effects.

^^^ You can not contradict what an expert says and then use them as a reliable source. These are emergency steps that have prevented several terrible events and situations that are problems now. Hopefully as we learn more and control the present life threating problem which is Covid we will be able to deal with any other less threatening problems in the future. This is basically an emergency measure. You jump off a sinking boat hoping you will at least float a few hours and maybe be rescued before the sharks come. You definitely don't go down with the ship if you have an option.

The source of above research is Classen, who received the "pants on fire" designation by fact checkers for lying. So far no other source in the science community agrees with him.

What he is is saying is that the shot does NOT prevent infection but it masks a symptom or two like cough or aches.   BMJ came back assessing those "95% effective" statements (effectiveness in the studies specifically means reduction of at least one symptom) and their statisticians put it at 19% effective.



Attacking the proofs that the shot is dangerous by "ministry of truth" "factcheckers" does NOT absolve FDA from its legal requirements proving it is safe.  A regular vaccine takes 10-15 years of safety studies.  FDA has utterly failed to assess safety data, and further they canceled animal trials which are normally required before human safety studies.  In previous animal trials for coronavirus vaccines, 100% of the animals died.



It seems every toxicity shown will have deniers despite the evidence; but the onus is on FDA to prove safety, not for consumers or victims to prove non-safety.

Fauci did not say what you interpreted him to say- he said what he said. Two distinctly different things.

I don't see anyone here "attacking truths". I do see you pushing paper by an anti-vaxxer whose papers are made available by a predatory publisher and responding to those who reject your line of thought by intimating that we all have been duped by the establishment. (Ministry of Truth, 1984, George Orwell). Because you opened this door, I assert that yes, someone has been duped, Tiggy. It's the people who dive into fringes promoted by dubious sources without vetting those sources.

If you continue to post this kind of dangerous misinformation, at least respond directly to rebuttals -- for instance, show your evidence that Classen is a reliable source of scientific information. Respond directly to Cammalu's response to you, above. Dont just continue to quote -- engage directly, please.

The problem with our 'fact finders' is that they come from one side of the political spectrum and one world view.  And after their politicians decide the 'truth', they all fall in line and declare anything out of line 'false'.  We need all sides of the debate heard without censorship or ridicule.


This is too complex a treatment for us to debate here.  This is what I know:
 - this is a new type of treatment, never been used before.
 - it has been out for less than a year with NO long term testing.
 - nobody knows how much protection this vaccine gives, nor for how long.
 - nobody knows the long term effects of this new technology.
 - there are always long term effects, could be good or bad (probably both).
 - right now nobody knows who is disseminating false information.

P.S. - One of the first things I look at when analyzing complex science that affects our culture is how persons that dispute the politically ordained 'facts' are treated.

When I was young I used to love to debate in school, many times what you believed was changed by learning someone's viewpoint. When people no longer learned the skills required for everyday life our society suffered and this is the result. Being more of a hermit seems to have made common sense and been a blessing to me lately.

I agree, this is not the correct forum to debate facts and factoids about the covid 19 vaccine. Either get the shot, or get covid & hope to survive. 

In this forum, we share our personal experience, and others share their experience. 

I was tested in December 2020 and negative for covid. Then we got the moderna series of shots first week in January and about 6 weeks later second shot.

Then in March, 72 Brazilians illegally immigrated to the United States and brought the Brazilian variant to town.  So now we are going to get tested again tomorrow fingers crossed. If we are negative we can get the PCR test to find out if we have ever been infected with it.

I have heard that in the fall, boosters will be available that include the variants.

Walmart is now giving the vaccines. In most cases you can get the vaccine the very next day.

You can also go to vaccinefinder.org and can look for vaccines in your vicinity

The sooner we have our vaccinations the sooner we can take our masks off and get back to normal. As long as more and more cases keep coming up we are stuck. When we get back to normal maybe we can even have an RTR!

I had my second dose of Moderna April 16th. Tomorrow will be the 14th day after the second shot. I can go back to whatever it is I want to go back to, although I can't think of anything at the moment. I'm still on my first cup of coffee.

No more fear of catching that crap. A friend of mine is slowly recovering after it knocked her on her butt for a month. She was taking precautions too....

If there's going to be a booster later on to cover different variants, I'll jump on that also but in the meantime, I'm finished worrying about it

I'm all excited to get my second moderna shot tomorrow. =D

Today, I am doing all of the pre-travel chores I can so I'll be ready to roll out of Pahrump on Monday -- even if I should lose a day or two to vaccine reaction symptoms.

I am soon to see my kids and grands and am grateful that I'm super unlikely to be able to infect them. I can't express how much I look forward to real live HUGS!
