Most of my family that works in the medical profession or nursing homes have had it and a few of their spouses, my sons are 10 weeks in and still dealing with the damage it has done. One had scarring in his brain which has affected his sense of balance and vision, most of the others are dealing with fatigue and shortness of breath. Some had no symptoms but ended up not finding out they had it until others had been infected due to a lack of testing. This Covid 19 has really taken a toll on us but fortunately no one in our family has died so far.

I know three people who have died from COVID.

Died with covid or died of covid?  There is a difference.  Not to be insensitive, but some people would die from the seasonal flu.

Isn't it strange that the regular flu just disappeared in the last 12 months?

How are you and John doing?   I miss you guys.  Tell John I still have his little purple aluminum container.

Don't you know that sugar is bad for you?  Sugar kills (in large doses over a lifetime :D )!!
I used to kid myself that I didn't eat that much sugar. You know you are eating sugar when you buy a 5 pound bag and it all disappears.

I have tried the stevia, but I miss the sugar crash.

We have had quite a few deaths in this 55+ park. Then we found out we had an ill superspreader who was going around "helping" everyone. Just glad I didn't need any "help."

I don't know anyone who has had Covid.  I think the "asymptomatic" theory is BS.  If one doesn't have enough of a viral load to have symptoms, they won't spread any Corona virus.

25% of the shoppers in the stores here are not wearing masks, that says to me that it's not as dangerous as the government wants you to believe.
Found the cure 4 U! 2400mg Regeneron, link to article.

For nerds only: medcram lecture on mRNA I thought it was fascinating. Go figure. Link to half hour lecture.

I really don’t know what the difference is in the end if you die. Basically if they hadn’t have gotten COVID the pneumonia wouldn’t have set in and killed them.

I think the flu has all but disappeared because so many are masking and washing hands due to COVID. I usually get at least a cold over the winter but I guess this mask and little spray bottle of alcohol have kept me safe from the usual passing viruses.

We are in YARC Camp but leaving in a few days Where did you get off to this winter? I was wondering about you.

^^^They are not altering or taking away any of the DNA. They are educating the cell by giving the cell information (manufactured DNA as I understand it) it would have in the past gained slowly through exposure to dead virus or exposure to a small amount of the live virus. Many health problems like cancer are caused because the DNA we all have and now have the ability to map in each individual has caused cells to form incorrectly due to a lack of information (damaged or mutated DNA) which they can now manufacture the correct DNA which can give back that information to the cell in order for the cells to function properly without altering the original DNA. In other words none of our existing DNA is being changed. The cell is just getting additional information to help it function better or normally as it should. Hope this helps! It is in trails now but they may have actually found a cure for cancer through this technology and science!

Yes, wow a cure for cancer.  That future generations may be able to avoid the horrible disease cancer by using this type of mRNA vaccine.

Yet I do understand that some people will prefer to suffer an agonizing fate rather than to get a shot. As long as a person is sane, medical treatments are still voluntary in the US. Some other countries this is not so.

Genetic treatment is the wave of the future. For everything.

Someone near and dear to me was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma about 3 years ago. they threw all the standard treatments at it. Everything they tried worked for a while - nothing worked for long. Around November, he was told he was out of options, and the odds were he had about 6 weeks of life left. I saw him in November on my way down, and both of us were aware that the odds were it was the last time.

Around December, he got into a trial where they took some of his blood, genetically modified the cells and grew them out for a couple weeks, and then returned them. He was pretty darn sick by the time he got his modified blood cells back.

Bingo. No more cancer cells in his body for four months now, and he looks, feels, and acts healthy again. No one knows how long this will last. the oldest survivor of this treatment has been cancer-free for five years. My friend is not yet fully recovered, cancer and standard chemo/radiation are very hard on an older body. But even a few more years of feeling healthy? Who wouldn't take that deal?

No, we don't know everything we'd like to know about the long-term effects of this new vaccine. But I have no hesitation in getting it. And not just for my own sake.

I knew someone who survived pancreatic cancer with some similiar treatment, Swedish Hospital in Seattle does it. As for side effects of the DNA treatment: he seemed to be crabbier but his wife was much happier.

Hi nomad people out there...
I was wondering where you are getting vaccinations and what that has been like? For me, still in Los Angeles, it has been pretty much a mad house. I get alerts when there are openings but by the time I get onto the page where you sign up no one has them anymore. I am staying a month longer just so I can get one before heading out on the road. But next month will be me taking leave of this big city and I was wondering what it might be like to get vaccinated out on the road.
I'd love to hear from any of you and what it has been like.
Thanks, Diana
I've not had it yet. I've never had one yet.

For my wife she had a bump on her arm and was sore and tired after the first shot, mine was just a little soar but really didn't bother me, we were on the road both days as for her we went 330 miles for her shot and me the next day we went 500 miles, so 880 miles in two days. we will do the same this next week except we will make an additional 500 mile trip for a doctor's appointment as well, so 1380 miles next week. Gasoline is over $4.00 a gallon here at the lake. You really have to want to live remote and work a job to put up with what for most is a simple trip downtown! LOL!!!

My first shot is April 2 and my second April 30. Yay! Can't wait to get this done and done just in time to follow the spring bloom north. :)

We got our first Moderna shots yesterday at the Walmart in Pahrump. Just a bit sore at the injection local on our arms and no other symptoms.
We received vaccine record cards so we can go to almost any place that is giving vaccines for our second shot - no need to stay in Pahrump for a month.
Nevada has lowered the age to 16 so everyone can get vaccinated.

A couple lay around fatigued lazy slight head ache days after the second shot but now 5 days later anxious for the 15 of April to get here! First time that has ever happened for me! LOL!!!

Congrats to all that got their shots. Wasn’t that a huge relief??? I had been really anxious and when I got the shots I got a big sense of relief!
