Wish I were close enough to bring to one of you guys that really knows what you are doing when it comes to transmissions. It takes a long time to get it anywhere tho at 30 miles per hour.

How did this end up for you? I ask as I am having transmission issues and have to decide between rebuild or replace, neither are looking good for my wallet.

If you want to keep the vehicle, you can have a junk yard install a used one for 1/2 or less the price of a rebuild. The warranty is usually the same.Complete rebuild is complete BS.They replace the bad part and call it a rebuild. There is no such thing as an honest lawyer, car salesman or transmission shop.Or politician.

The transfix didn't work.  Had to get the tranny rebuilt.  Thanks for asking.  In my case, I think the Transfix was too little too late.

Wish I had known that before.  Where were you then?  Except getting a used Dodge transmission put in might be like buying a pig in a poke.
To my credit, I did do careful research before choosing a transmission shop.  They replaced the bad parts and cleaned the others, just like you said.  The money's gone now anyway.  So, onward I go.

on any rebuild no matter what it is engine, transmission, steering box or anything else, all wear items must be replaced. not just bad ones, if all wear parts are not replaced it cannot be called a rebuild and must be called a repair. highdesertranger

Thanks for the clarification.  I know you're the expert.  silly me, I would call the wear items "bad".
