Hi, I am 77 yrs of age and am now considering the Nomad life style. I am still working as I cannot retire, however a thought came to mind, what if I was laid off?
Fortunately  that is not the case so I intend working to the end of 2021 if possible  and by then be ready with some funds put aside. At the moment I have a Pontiac Vibe and a little 4x8 Runaway camper. Looking forward to exciting times. I know I have a lot to learn.

Welcome to the CRVL forums Linecaster!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the forum. I toured the Runaway show lot. Made me want to hitch one up and make a run for it, LOL. I think I would probably prefer a WeeRoll tall enough for me to stand in, though. Hopefully, I will be able to make do with my RAV4 and not have to tow anything.

Since you already have the camper, start using it on weekends and vacations so it is tweaked just right to suit you when you hit the road full time at the end of 2021. I am aiming to be a snowbird by April 2023. Happy Trails!

Thank you for your response, I do camp in my Runaway but am thinking like you, something to stand up in and more long term. with a low budget I am hoping for a van with a high roof or maybe a box van.
