To AC or Not to AC

The AC is coming off at some point anyway to make room for another solar panel on the roof rack. I may as well get used to not having it.

Have you considered keeping the A/C unit and adding a set of remote solar panels?
On a hot day you could park in the shade and place the panels several feet away out in the sun.
