Hello Everyone, been lurking around for months but decided it would be much more fun if I joined the party. My name is Susan and I purchased my van last month. She is a Nissan NV2500 HD Standard Roof, with plans of expanding the top. I have done some work on the build but the weather in my area is not cooperating lately. 

I look forward to learning more from and about you all.

Foam mat (used for sound deadening) was recommended to go down before the plywood, then a layer of thick plastic sheeting and then the vinyl click and lock flooring.

Welcome VagaboundSusan!  I'm head deep in sound deadening my van.  That foam mat you're using, do you have a link for that?  Van looks good by the way.  Lots of good ideas here.

Home Depot Sound Pad Link <<<<<< This was pointed out to me by a flooring guy that was there picking up supplies and had overheard what I was looking for. It was super easy to lay out and trim in. I then put my 1/2" plywood on top, followed by this

Hi VagaboundSusan. Love the van it is beautiful. I was in the gulf over memorial day weekend and am hoping to go back for labor day if I have time. Such a beautiful place. I stayed on the beach all day and slept at WalMart :s . Very fun trip for me. Good luck with your plans.
