Oh no!! haha... My mom would bust out with that a lot whenever we all hopped into the van for an adventure. We started thinking the song jinxed us, cause when she sang it something inevitably happened. It got to where she would turn around and look at us girls, smile really onery, start to open her mouth and we'd jump on her to get her to not sing it. Lol, just hope it doesn't jinx my upcoming adventure.

Also, most country songs from this era bring back memories for me of riding around in my dad's tow truck as kid. He always had the radio tuned to a country station, wouldn't listen to anything else.

for me it was riding along with my grandfather (a long haul trucker) around the u.s.,western music with a nice dose of Paul Harvey

I like this one by Incubus:

"Drive"

Sometimes I feel the fear of the uncertainty stinging clear
And I can't help but ask myself how much I'll let the fear take the wheel and steer

It's driven me before, and it seems to have a vague
Haunting mass appeal
Lately I'm beginning to find that I should be the one behind the wheel

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes, yeah
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there, I'll be there

So if I decide to waiver my chance to be one of the hive
Will I choose water over wine and hold my own and drive, oh oh
It's driven me before, and it seems to be the way
That everyone else gets around
Lately, I'm beginning to find that when I drive myself, my light is found

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes, yeah
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there, I'll be there

Would you choose water over wine... hold the wheel and drive?

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes, yeah
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there, I'll be there

1000+ votes for the Eagles "take it to the limit".
Best highway song ever.
