The importance of naming your ride.

When this came up a while ago, I loosely named the bus "Buford" after sheriff Buford T Pusser, the real life Sherriff in the movie "Walking Tall". It was, after all, a prison transporter most of it's life before I got it. I dont often use the name though.

<p>Well my old 1951 Harley is named Gypsy Breeze and is fitting with all the miles she has takin me and with the hitop class B im workin on and the way it catchs wind its seems like the most fitting name is Wind Catcher!,,,geezzz,, gotta b a better name than that?,,lol!</p>

Everything's going to be&nbsp;white, so in sticking with the cold weather animal theme, we've been thinking about 'Polar Bear', because it's going to be so hunky.&nbsp; Don't have to decide until we actually get the slide-in camper.</p><p style="margin: 0px;">&nbsp;</p><p style="margin: 0px;">Current B is the GyrFalcon (pronounced Jer-Falcon). I forgot to say that I call my Chinook conversion "Chinookie" as in "there is no nookie like Chinookie" an old Alaskan line for King salmon fishing time....<br><br>My sidecar rig is AliBOBah . I think of it as a "he" and the B.O.B. part stands for Beast of Burden...shamelessly stolen from the BOB bicycle trailer by the same name. Alibabah is because the rig is very much my "magic carpet" since it takes me wherever I wish....in absolute comfort and "in the wind pleasure"....hard to get any better than that......hence the "magic"part....<br>I wish I had a way to incorporate Turtle into the name since that is my totem...but instead I have a turtle on the front fender....<br>bri<br><br><br><br>

I've been calling my van Pita Ford the C.U.N.T. Mobile but at our first van run someone dubbed it "Pussy Galore" so that's going to stick. With six cats (4 male 2 female), a female mouse and myself - Pussy Galore is a much more loving name than I gave the thing.<br>

I've been calling my van Pita Ford the C.U.N.T. Mobile but at our first van run someone dubbed it "Pussy Galore" so that's going to stick.

That was the name of a she-villain in one of the James Bond movies. In the 60's, there was still a lot of censorship in movies and tv, and the Bond writters loved to see what they could sneak past the censors. Remember "Octopussy" in the early 80's?
