I have 4 gage cables running from the house battery to my battery charger , I need a connector that will enable me to tee off of these 4 gage wires without cutting the 4 gage cable , I can remove part of the insulation to tap it but I don't want to cut the actual copper part.
I can't find connectors to do this.
I plan to hook up a second battery charger.

I've done both methods , thinking the split bolt (burndie) would be the easiest.

I've been looking for something that's like a combination of those two things , like a split bolt that you mount to the wall but a actual electrical connector ,  something that was designed to do the teeing off , with a cover would be nice .
I would think Blueseas would have it , I'll look there now .
Thanks

use a terminal.  you will have to add another wire or cut your wire and add terminals.  like this https://www.bluesea.com/products/2003/PowerPost_-_3_8in-16_Stud .  they have other options so check out their site.  highdesertranger

Yes , Thanks , I bought a battery isolater from Blue Sea , I've been meaning to look into more of there products but it always slips my mind , thanks for reminding me , I'm sure they have a lot of really good stuff .
