A fold out kitchen/chuck wagon.
Modular pieces morph from box to kitchen table and cooktop and then to a bed.

It doesn't appear to be available. And no price is listed.
Hopefully it happens. Seems like a quick and easy way to convert any car or van into camper with a kitchen.
There's some videos in the link.

Could be a fine DIY project also.

"STORE"  link had the price and availability.........Google currency exchange works out to over $2,688 USD.......(of course before shipping).........for the basic Van box

doug

I need to post photos of my chuckwagon kitchen design...............
Would you post up pics and plans? Thx.

That price from your RoomBox link is NOT for the box. It is for the bedframe with poles gizmo they offer. Freetech is the bed. Easytech is the box.

I figured the price will be outta sight whenever the Box is available. I looked at a few videos and the design has changed numerous times.

Sorry Gargoyle..............I should know better that to PUI.............(Post Under the Influence)

Damn that makes the price even worse....................It's like the Swiss pocket knife of Van Conversions.....ON Steroids !

I tell you, with the number of new van builders coming up, it would be a great start-up business with various units - beds with drawers, kitchen set-ups and cabinetry. Maybe fiberglass that you could pick and choose the units you need and slide them into your existing van and just as easily remove them for switching vehicles. Keeping it as affordable as possible for the average person. And a website catering exclusively to van dwellers with solar, appliances, etc.

The concept seems a good one .
You could build your own version for way less !

With everybody having different vehicles, DIY is probably the best. Hard to make a one-size-fits-all.?
Different stoves, sinks and water needs,  various dimensions and vehicle contours. it'd be tough to please all.

I'd pay good money for a DIY blueprint.

Plenty of plans and blueprints on the google searches I've done. YouTube also.
I'll send you a bill. :D

Modular is the way I want to have my van setup. If something happens and I need to replace the van, just move the modules over to the next vehicle. Or if a module needs updating, just work on that piece.

It's just good Industrial Design,  as it serves people's needs in a functional manner.   I'm sure there will be copy cats (ahh so)  putting knock-off's of these on the shelves of Walmart in time.

But I can see a wide range of markets for this even if it has to be custom tailored to the most popular vehicles for
which it is intended to work in.  It looks like SUV's are the target market in that website presentation.  But what I
like most about this is the ease of which it could be set into a vehicle and instantly be ready to hit the road.  Doesn't get any more "BugOut" than that.

I could imagine a tent that drapes over the rear hatch to be used with that system in camp.  A membership to
any of the popular Gym's like Planet Fitness would round out the rest of the needs when traveling, or staying in
National or State parks with bath houses & restrooms.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant these specific units. Yes DIY is doable, but I like the clean look.

Would take special tools, maybe even CNC
