It was awesome. I had mostly forgotten about it but when I left my night spot and headed towards work I noticed the huge moon and partial eclipse. Pulled over in my usual parking lot space to fix my makeup and hair for work. Kept going back and forth between taking pictures, watching the moon and getting ready. Great way to start the day IMHO.

I also just had a cell phone so the pictures didn't do much justice.

Had my scope out at 4am it was very cool

We were at Sidewinder Rd. BLM. Very little light pollution. Watched it from about 4:30 until dawn. Absolutely amazing. Not only the moon, but the fact that we were out there in the desert instead of Michigan where you rarely get to see the sky this time of year!

I watched part of the lunar eclipse and got a couple of pictures. I’m at the LTVA in Quartzsite.
