Sorry to hear things didn't work out. All the best to ya

Art if you want to do a little project take a look at tntt for foamy truck cap camper. You could drop the tail gate and use 2x10 lumber clamped to bed rails to mount full sized raised topper on your ranger and build smaller rear door to match topper at the end of the tail gate. Good to go!

Thanks Bob, Buddy enjoyed it, lots to sniff
He's a bed hog, though lol
bullfrog I might take a look at that, thoiugh my building skills are less than stellar lol

I'm gonna try again tonight, in my driveway, see if the ply on floor method with a shelf over might work

I've been thinking about the TX coast. I've gotten bored with yet another winter in the AZ and CA deserts, and generally antsy to go somewhere different. I'm waiting for my registration renewal and some Amazon packages to be forwarded, then I'm probably out of here.

Seems like "everyone" goes to the islands to camp on the sand, but after seeing the Port Mansfield video, I could probably be happy on the mainland.

Ply on floor with shelf over worked much better, but of course now the cold weather has moved in lol
Still slept decent, this wouldn't be as good as a minivan or better, full size van, but it's workable for part timing
Add a real tent for decent weather, it's be pretty cool

i stayed for free in iraan tx, they have a rv park no hooks for free, 15$ with. I also stayed in winnie tx, get permit from sherriffs office you can stay three days in park. Sherriff did bug me despite getting permit at his office but i think it was a shift change thing
