Step van motor home insurance in Ontario?

Does anyone have any experience with finding insurance for your converted step van? &nbsp;I've been having a really hard time finding a company that is willing to insure our van. &nbsp;At this point, we just want to get it on the road, so we aren't shopping around for the best price, we just need someone to say yes! &nbsp;We have a 1985 Grumman Kurbmaster. It's&nbsp;GVWR is 4,500kgs, and it has it's safety test (Ontario), and is registered as a motorhome.<br><br>Any help would be greatly appreciated!<br>Thanks <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

Hey..<br>Ontario here as well,<br>State Farm insured my converted Box truck, mine is registered as a Motor Home as well. No problems for me at all.<br><br>State Farm agent Greg Dawson 905-430-1748<br>if it is registered as a Motor Home they will insure it, he did show up, take inside pics and outside pics to give to Main office to prove it was a Motor Home.<br>At the time, the back half was for storage and space, front for Home, no issues at all!&nbsp;<br>Cheers

I called but they weren't able to insure us because of the vehicle <img src="/images/boards/smilies/frown.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">

That is very odd, did you tell them it was a conversion to a camper?
