Instead of using the typical salad bowl for a sink, I wonder if there's any reason not to use something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001VZ6YA...olid=27B54LZSIR3A5&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

Its almost 3 times the volume of the 5 qt salad bowl but doesn't take up that much more counter space. I remember one of my campers having a really small sink and doing dishes was pretty difficult so I'd like something bigger.

homemade sinks never drain right because the drain never truly sits at the bottom. I would just get a regular sink. you can get used ones or overstock ones pretty cheap if you shop around. highdesertranger

Paullad, HDR is right. I bought that same sink from a local restaurant supply house and am using it in my small trailer. The bottom is flat and the sink does not drain completely. If you use one dont drill a drain hole with a hole saw use an electrical knock out puller and pull the plug out the bottom that will give you a little drop to the drain. Best luck. Jeff

it is not that easy to put a hole in a stainless steel pan.
I don't use them for sinks but I do use the food service pans for easy to install drawers. They have great extended lips on the sides that work as drawer runners in a slot. They are made to slide into racks.
