It would be hard keeping all that copper clean and shiny, and I guess you'd want to tow it with an old steam powered car in order to keep with the visual theme, but it's still mighty cool.

Here is the instagram page for the designer and builder of the steam punk teardrop, Ronald Sponselee. He built it to be a rental, but probably not for camping, instead for use in photoshoots, advertising, films, etc. In other words people rent it for a prop. He also has a copper car shown on his instagram page as well as other teardrops he has designed and built. He is from the Netherlands and is a professional display designer/builder.

That is gorgeous!

I saw in Louisiana some years back a very unique, wooden teardrop, beautifully stained and polished and with painted window boxes at the fake windows.

It was parked, no one around, so I didn’t get to talk with the owners nor see the inside, but I never forgot it.

Must be nice to have such talent.
