I kinda like state inspections.......there are to many on the road with the mentality that if you can register it you can drive it...safe or not.....

That's a good point as there are a lot of rolling wrecks out there. I figure that these days the risk from that danger pales in comparison to all the idiots out there busy yakking or texting instead of paying attention to their driving.

I was on a ladder today installing some trim, when I heard tires screaming, yelling, and a horn honking. I looked and saw someone in a suit with a phone in one hand and the wheel in the other had almost hit the Sheriff's wife in her full size ford truck. His little hyundai would have been toast. He flew past her, and pulled into the church parking lot. About two minutes later a couple cars pulled out of the local sheriff office and went the three blocks to the church.

There is justice! :p

I like state inspections, In Virginia, it's yearly @ 16.oo right now, but a killer for me I have 7 vehicles that require inspection ,Tags too @ 45.75 per vehicle too.

Unless you bring a vehicle from out of state, there is usually no inspection for vehicles in Arizona. Usually just emission inspections in the metro areas. There are probably inspections for some vehicles that have been in state the vehicles whole life, but I have not seen that. The governments in this country are corrupt and out of control with regulation.
