the red flag for me on that van is the diamond plate rocker guards. why is it only in one place? are they trying to hide something? like rust. highdesertranger

Great feedback. - Hit the guy on this and he said:

"That van was owned and driven on the east side of town there is a place over there that covers the bottoms of those vehicles for customers. I took a look under a few panels and there is some surface rust at the bottom and quite sure that's why individuals have that done. THe fuel lines brakes lines bottom of the oil pan everything is fine on that vehicle it's got many years left to it" It runs and drives as it should, air blows nice and cold, has a power driver seat and rear heat. Former owner bought brand new -- one owner".

Maybe ask for some pictures of the rust? This seems a good deal/fit for me and I'd hate to let a little bit of rust get in the way of a 2 year max vehicle?

remember rust is like an ice berg. you only see about 15% of it, the rest is hidden. highdesertranger

riggy, consider an older class b rv. Thats a van body with all the stuff in it that you will try to put in a cargo van.
Some have high tops. Before doing a bunch of conversion work ( read: time and money) get out there and do it.
Like posted earlier... you need personal experience. Somebody else's experience is helpful but they are not you so that makes a difference.
Ya gotta get out there and live it. Fast way to that is a cheap RV.
