I'm not a big fan of the old south, but I have to admit springtime here is beautiful.Hope everyone is having a good season.

Yes, the dogwoods, tulip trees, bradford pears, and magnolias...the redbud trees are my favorite. Visually stunning yet he11 for anyone with allergies. LOL

I love the old South:) especially better than the cold North, we have snow coming. Enjoy it for all of us up here!

As a faithful scion of The Olde South, I appreciate it's beauty in all seasons, but the early spring is special.  This season's flowering has been the finest in many years.  We had a wet and warmish winter here.  The buds came on early.  Camping, motorcycling and other outdoor activities are year round here.
Each region of the US has it's beauty.  But I still prefer the southeast.

real nice last couple days here nw oregon sunny and just above 70,spring seems to be nice wherever you have spring

I lived 31 years in the South, including the 17 years previous to becoming a nomad. To me, spring in the South means sneezing, itchy watery eyes, nasal congestion or being drugged up to suffer a little less. It means hosing a coating pollen off of everything every other day. Then comes dripping humidity season where I never want to leave air conditioning. Then constant leaf raking season. When I decided to become a vandweller, I couldn't get out of the South fast enough. I have absolutely no desire to ever go back.

I love the 'Old South'. From Louisiana to Georgia. Wonderful Food everywhere and something called 'dark coffee'. It is an absolute garden paradise. It has been many years since I have visited that area. Not since living in my Van. Very cordial people always offering a glass of tea. Beautiful plants and trees and lots of history. If I could figure out a time of year where the humidity was low...I would visit in a hot second!
