I just purchased a step van. My plan so far is to get solar first. 
I received this quote to day and I'm looking for some feedback.
I will have a small frig, laptop running for atleast 10 hrs a day, AC and maybe a induction cooktop.
I'd like to have a a on demand water heater maybe 7-8 gallon ....
Not sure where to start... or stop.

Client to provide all materials and expendables. So your total cost would be probably closer to $4k. Not that great a deal. And this does not include anything that is not 12 volts. No telling what they will want for that. We are probably up to 8 grand now.

Estimation of 1-2 days onsite installation. So they want $750 a day for just labor? Is this disclaimer there so they can charge you another $1,500 labor if they fumble around and take 4 days?

I don't think 800 watts would cover your usage. A little bit of cloud cover and your system would not keep up. Solar panels are affected by weather, location, and time of year. I have 960 watts of solar and need to fire up a generator before 10 am or after 5 pm to run a 5,000 BTU AC unit.

I would keep shopping. Have you discussed this with Jim in Denver?
