It was written as a **parody** of all kinds of prejudice, with the whole point being to promote tolerance. Like when people take an Onion article seriously. . .

This song is from "back in the day" when the whole idea of tolerating diversity was still pretty radical to most of the population.
Ironic we're back to having to re-fight the same damn fight all over again.
I guess we were so naive to think only small pockets of deplorables remain.

This is so inspiring! If she can do it in a Smart car, I should be able to do it in my Dodge Journey.

A few years ago I met two sisters who were traveling and camping with a Smart. They slept in a tent, though. I was amazed at all the stuff they could fit in that car. Four-person tent, two sleeping bags, 2-burner stove, pots and pans, cooler, lantern, clothes and personal items... and the two of them, of course.
