I have just gone fulltime at age 75.  My dog and my cat live with me in my 16' travel trailer.  I am currently in a RV park in WA for the summer and won"t be traveling for now but am setting up a winter base in AZ. I plan to be down there come October and will be a tourist around the state. I figure I should take in Q at least once and visit The Canyon among other things.
I have left all my cares behind me and am enjoying my new found freedom. :D I look forward to meeting new friends on the road.

congrats, good for you and welcome. try to make the RTR in Quartzsite in January. highdesertranger

Welcome Silver Fox, what sort of 16 footer are you in?
I'm in an old Road Ranger, and it's a bunkhouse design, not good for fulltiming, but I am anyway :D

Whenever I try to access anything to do with cheaprvliving I get a message saying it has caused IE to quit working.

It is a 1991 Kit Monterey; all the comforts of home in a small package.

I would love to. Can you give me the particulars?

RTR is the annual gathering in Quartzsite in January. lots of good people and lots of good information. have you got the links thing figured out? Cyndi gave a link. also at the top of the page under the CRVL logo there is a title called gatherings, click on that. if those don't work I will get you some youtube videos. can you watch youtube videos? or are you on limited bandwidth? highdesertranger

None of the links above work. It says this website caused IE to quit working.  I can watch some youtube. What I need are dates and location.

A warm welcome, Silver Fox! Congratulations on your freedom and peace of mind  :)

Huh, my Road Ranger is made by Kit, too, it has all the comforts, except hot water, shower, or flush tiolet (just a sink, porta potti, no washing facilities but too much stuff crammed in a small package , plus some rednecking by a previous owner
I honestly hate IE, I call it 'the best tool available to download a real browser
First thing when I buy a new computer is put either Chrome or Firefox on it

Hello and Welcome! I am totally ignorant about internet stuff however there are some true wizards with it here.. If you go to You Tube look for Enigmatic Nomadics they have done a lot of CRVL  videos If you find one for RTR 2016 that is the one for this past January  also on Y T look for Cheap R V Living.  Hope you can get hooked up OK.  Lots of us have animals, I have a 6yr old untrained attack Chihuahua named Queenie, we're not mobile at this time.
                                           Jewellann aka TJB

P.S. What's a IE?

TJBird, IE is Internet Explorer, Microsoft's lame web browser

Welcome. While enjoying the fulltime life for my first year, I lived in a tiny Shasta Compact 12x7 foot. I shared it with my 2dogs. 16 foot would have seemed big to me. I just got a mansion of a camper, its a 1989 18 footer, that's 16in the box. I was happy as could be in the first camper and just as happy in this one. There's something about the freedom living like this, nothing else compares. Good luck and take care.

Diane
