I get to put a starter on a 2007 ford e350 super duty passenger van with the 5.4 v8 should be educational for me i have never had to work on this van .

Hi Dean. Be sure to disconnect the battery negative cable before starting work.

One of the easier "plug and play" fixes that you can do. This should be 2 main mounting bolts, and 2-3 wires. Make sure you unhook the battery first....i'm thinking less than an hour total. Good Luck.

Got the starter off the van took it to the parts store had it tested it it failed

So your diagnostics was spot on. Good troubleshooting. You are saving a good chunk of change doing it yourself. Don't overdo it though. We want you out and about almost as badly as you want it. Hope your Dr visit was good.

No real change from doctor I did loose 8 pounds . Pulled the starter on my van took it to the parts store had it tested it and it failed
