Just filed my income taxes and was delighted to discover I have more money coming back than I expected.  So I decided to upgrade to a new tablet.  The old one, an Asus model, is about 5 years old, and becoming "flakey".  The new one is from Samsung and has excellent reviews.

Amazon wanted $550 for it.  I got it from Best Buy for $400.  Lesson: DON"T assume Amazon always has the best prices on something.

Priceblink and similar browser add-ons will run at the top of Amazon and tell you if it's cheaper elsewhere.

Even when Amazon is cheapest there may be better deals than the one highlighted;  check the area below the Add to Cart for Other Sellers, Warehouse, New and Used, See All Offers, etc.  First item I checked for an example was a Maxxfan.  Highlighted Amazon Prime price was $183.80 (priceblink didn't find anything cheaper).  But under Other Sellers it is $170.27 with free (non-prime) shipping.

Checking all the offers can sometimes result in overall lower cost due to taxes.
