I am new around here and&nbsp;don't&nbsp;know just how close knit this group is or how tightly the members wish to keep their&nbsp;anonymity. this is always a popular thread on a few other forums I am on (even moderate some). so if it is ok with the admins I ill go first if not feel free to nuke this thread altogether. There is but, like you, I can't seem to find it now.

You *will* find that many people will have privacy issues with participating and I respect that. I've worked in technology for 20 years and have come to realize that privacy is an illusion. Example: there was an individual whom I disagreed with... they became pretty insulting and resorted to personal attacks. In an attempt to understand where they were coming from and what background may have led them to take such issue with me, I did a simple search. Within 10 minutes, I knew their other hobbies, real name, spouses name, home address, cell phone number and a felony crime in which they were charged as an accessory. ( No admin tools used... just google.)

Internet activity suffers from the same pitfall as road rage - folks act inappropriately behind a mistaken notion that they are anonymous and unaccountable. Behave as you would face-to-face - respectfully - and the world is a better, more polite place.

<br /><br />Who's trying to be popular? If I wanted to be popular I'd have a house and all the other things that society tells me I'm supposed to want. Non-conformity is my nature and I love it. Blunt and straight forward is just REAL honesty, and the only way to live life. You tell'em Seraphim!
