I know money is very limited for lots of us.  So any suggestion of getting things for FREE or loopholes of getting around things would be appreciated.

I'll start . . . . I got a Costco Card from a relative (They added me and gave me a card with my name on it) and when money is tight, I would go inside and eat the samples as a meal.  Costco does not limit how much you can eat.  When I'm on survival mode, I have no shame, I would circle around few times.  I don't create issues with other members and I don't fight with them to get the food.  I have time on my hand so I just circle around.  You be surprised some good stuff they put out  :)

Only freebie I encounter regularly are coupons and flyers. The back of the grocery receipt in some stores will offer 2-for deals at a lot of restaurants, so it's handy when traveling to get a deal for two, or an extra meal for later for one. And those little coupon books/flyers you see in restaurants and grocery stores sometimes have really excellent deals in them if you take the time to go through them.

Coupons are a big one. When you get BOGOs, that makes it worth it. Good time to stock up.

We also grab those small green books at rest areas if we're looking for a cheap hotel for the night, they have some killer deals on decent motels.

Burger King Coupons thrown away at the post office. Harbor Freight coupons. National Parks Pass so you can shower, dump and fill tanks while camping a few miles outside the gate on BLM land free.

Many kroger chains (Frys, smiths, fred meyer, ralphs) have "free fridays" where you get something free if you click on their web page or app. You get a couple of weeks to redeem the ecoupon. Also check for senior (55) or military discount days. You only need one discount card for all of them, and the gas points combine.

Free meals and showers at homeless shelters. I haven't, but some folks even get free clothes, toiletries, food boxes, etc. from them, too. Beach showers (but nearly always cold water brrr!). Free wifi in parking lots or on street near McDs, Starbucks, libraries, 24 hr gyms.

If you're at a casino always sign up for a players card. Many will give you "free play" for signing up, usually $10-20. Run it through a machine, every time you win hit the cash out button to turn it into real money. Don't run it through again or use any of your own money unless you like losing it. Some places have self-service soda machines and most have wifi, so sitting and slowly working through the free play is a good time to make use of those.

If you already have a players card for that casino chain, check online to see if you have any local offers waiting for you. You probably won't get many offers if you haven't spent any money in the past (which, again, you shouldn't!) but sometimes there will be a small free play or food offer.

Be careful with free or very cheap hotel room offers, they may not include the resort fee which can be $20+.

The casino thing is a good idea. I see them mailed out all the time.

Lots of random stuff. Coupons, useful items. All free. Most common thing I see is feminine products, which I stocked up for my wife.

Many mid-sized or larger cities also have a few soup kitchen type places if you just want a free meal and/or some groceries (sometimes).  Also, and I'm not sure why many nomads don't realize/think of this, most places with free wifi do not turn it off during "off-hours" so (if you can pick up the signal boosted or unboosted) you can get large(r) amounts downloaded/streamed at faster rates because almost no one else is using the bandwidth during that time --- and it's just downloading you're doing (and you have the needed power available) you can start the downloads, then go to sleep for a few hours before moving on ....

I remember in the 3rd grade our teacher wrote a letter to Hershey's saying she couldn't find a certain candy (Twizzler Nibs, I actually remember and want some now) and they mailed her a box of them along with a list of places she could get them.

So as an experiment she had everyone in class write them a letter and everyone of us got a ton of free candy mailed to us. Not sure if they still do this with the advent of email and easier communications.
