No Longer Debased.
Winter is coming, and being one that prefers to be proactive when I can afford it; I am thinking of secure propane heater mounting to minimize the risk of fire and busting the heater when going places. The best solution I can think of is to put the propane heater (the MR BUDDY 4000/9000 BTU propane heater in my case) inside a cage which is mounted on a wall, away from combustibles and the possibility of bedding falling on it.
So a heater cage, made of metal which secures the heater while keeping controls and vents fully accessible. It doesn't have to even be a cage, a shelf with piano wire to tie the heater down or water tank strapping with self tapping screws to secure the strapping to the wall.
I was looking at wire bird cages and dog crates last night to see if either could be re-purposed for this.
Has anybody seen this, built this, bought this, or can brainstorm a design using hardware store parts? I don't want to waste time and money via trial and error and reinventing the wheel when somebody else already has a solution.
