Since the arrival of the RV from N. Carolina I have had the pleasure of going to the RV to work a couple times a week.
As my mom's vascular dementia has progressed unabated since last August, I am finding that no matter the issues or the hassles my time working on the RV has become my "me time" and my "time off".
I am hoping to have enough of it done to take it to Wyoming to see the total eclipse on August 21. My gut is telling me that it may be the last time mom is well enough to travel. Another reason the rebuild of the RV is keeping me sane and focused on the future.
Once I planned to have mom involved in this rebuild. Sadly, that is not likely to happen now.
To all the caregivers of this world...my hats off to all of you! My understanding of your situation has deepened these last months. To everyone here who set their plans aside to care for a loved one...may the rest of your days be especially blessed!
