RV "Angels" that travel to natural disasters to help?

I had heard this was a thing and there was an official group a time ago, but forgot about it until now when I am close to retiring and hitting the road.  If anyone has a name, website, Facebook group I'd appreciate it as I'd like to investigate if this is something I can do out of my RAV4 Hybrid or in some other capacity.  Thanks!

I know the "Cajun Navy" is one and they helped out with the hurricanes the last couple of years. highdesertranger

I'm planning to volunteer for a disaster relief organization. Not sure what RV angels are though. I'll be volunteering with a Christian ministry.

I donate monthly to Remote Area Medical. They come to my town once a year. I have health insurance, but many do not.

Are you talking about the rv caravans into mexico? They may have "green angels" but those are government funded mobile mechanics.

Go for it. Just make sure when you show up you’re not a burden to the already strained local infrastructure. You need to be self reliant regarding food, water and a legal place to park.
