How about an update on where you are, where you're going etc. I'm in the Tahoe National Forest, running campgrounds for the Forest Service for the summer. On French Meadow lake in the great Sierra mountains. Just this side of heaven!

Cool for you! I am in Ft Worth, Tx. Just began a new job that should last a year or so. Full timing in the fifth wheel at a Rv park. I also have my building tools and backpack and trail gear with me, so if someone needs help with a build or wants to get together for the weekend.

I am getting out of the sticks-n-bricks this summer! I will be staying in our older, but still nice, Class C at an RV Park in central Ohio. We moved the rig yesterday and got it all hooked up; today we take the dogs and move in for the next six months. Not quite full-timing, but we're getting there!

Still in Moses Lake here, Moose the pup is huge and we're getting a truck, possibly a camper shell or a build out will go on the back.

Gonna take an extended camping trip out to Cle Elem next month, and then out near Leavenworth after that.

Good to hear from all of you!

I'm still in Ohio, still mowing and caring for 2 houses and trying to make enough to pay taxes for 2 houses and my attitude is getting worse.

Still in NW Florida above Bonifay on the weekends and Tallihassee during the week. Looked at a Bluebird Wonderlodge today and hopefully do all the paperwork tomorrow.

It needs a lot of interior work, it's a '79. FC 35, which means its a front engine diesel. Everything pretty much works. I will be adding some good solar after I get everything else fixed. I will be striping it down and redoing pretty much all the interior. Replacing all the rubber stuff on the engine.

If I actually get it I'll do pics as is and finished as it happens.

It's supposed to get 10-12 mpg. The owner said he could fill up the tank and go 1200 miles. We'll see.

My van is almost set up. In 3 weeks I will be job camping. Still waiting on curtains. Not really much to say but really can't wait for the outcome.

Hey owl I love That area are the bears a problem yet, 500 pounder folded my door in half tore up the drivers seat to get into the ice chest ate my bacon and drank my beer.

Still in Pensacola Fl, taking care of Cathy. If things go right , I'll keep this place even after Cathy's gone. I'll see when the time comes but not in any rush as long as I can keep Cathy around.

We haven't had any bear problems to speak of for serveral years. The bearproof garbage cans and bear boxes have pretty much solved that issue. Knock on wood!

I'm in Western Colorado, parked in my Mom's driveway, helping her with some heavy work around her house. Hopefully, will finish soon and head for ?? Someplace else? National forest? BLM? Who knows? But this is perfect weather here! So no rush :)

In NZ cleaning, sorting, stowing, packing stuff and readying for departure on Sunday for Vancouver BC, a few days there then off to Ontario and into my Kurbmaster for the next four months of boondocking. Hoping to travel the Translabrador highway into Newfoundeland this year. Starting to get excited about it. Have a nice nothern hemisphere summer everyone.Enjoy!!

I have been at the Isaac Creek CG on the Alabama River for a week. The campground host here told me the Ranger for the US Army Corps of Engineers needed a Park Host. I will be doing that until October 31st. It doesn't pay any wages, but I get a FREE campsite with full hook-ups. The only thing I have to do is open and close the main gate every day.

OK, Joey, you realize you open the gate in the morning and close it in the evening, right ? If you get mixed up call Bob.

I'm in Folsom, California until the end of the year. Maybe not so long if we can find a replacement for me at work. But it's getting HOTT!

I think I'll go somewhere colder next...

Bolivar Beach TX (ferry ride to Galveston). $10 annual beach parking permit and I'm camped less than 50' from the Gulf. Lots of introspection and reflection on this trip - I planned it with the 3rd anniversary of my husband's death in mind. The soothing sounds of the surf, long walks along the beach, and the salty air has done much to ease my spirit and celebrate the good things in my life, as well as remember my husband in a calming environment.

Life is good.

still sticks and bricks lifestylein charleston sc. retirement in eight years. social security not for 18 years. lots of work and savings before that. but realistic that ss is a backup for health issues.

I'm still working full time in Houston. My daughter is a freshman at UT, so I have to keep an entirely too high income I do full time in a 25 ft Class C, a Tioga, and I keep it parked at an RV park on Lake Conroe, just north of Houston. $340 per month, plus electric.

Bama Duke

We're visiting a friend in Santa Fe then moving onto Colorado for the summer as soon as it gets a little warmer in the mountains.

Northern Nevada working in a semi truck, Elko, Carlin, Winnemucca. Weather here is getting a little warmer now so sleeping at night is getting more comfortable.
