This is from a small 7 inch LED Tv. I used to run on battery for a surpringly long time. Now nothing.

Post mortem shows no buldging or leaking.

Two batteries tied together.

Each battery marked
KMB BI200384
NK476067 2AH

These are from a Dakota 7" LCD TV model number STV-O7O

Any help finding a replacement would be cool.

It does run without the battery. The wall wart is rated at 12v and 1.5amp. I'm wondering if I can rig a direct run to my battery?

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer?
Also maybe run the TV model number and battery numbers through both Google and Amazon. I have found old parts for a 70 year old Kodak Brownie camera doing that. Very likely, what you want is "out there".

YOu can wire it directly to your 12v battery, with fuse.

If you cut off the cord to the wall wart, There are two wires.

One of them is + and one is -.

If the plug is a barrell type plug the exterior metal is the - and the inside portion of the barrel is +

A digital multimeter can show which wire is connected to + or -.  One wire will have a stripe or ridges differentiating it from the other wire.

There should be a fuse protecting this wire.  I will guess it is 22 gauge wiring, perhaps thinner, but if the wall wart says output is 1.5 amps, you could fuse it at 2 amps.

This low wattage is no problem for the otherwise problematic Ciggy plug, so you could hook the cord into this plug then plug it into any 12v outlet.

These come with a 10 amp fuse, but any auto parts store will have a 2 amp fuse or a 5 amp fuse that will fit inside this linked plug.
