I have a few gashes and tears from improperly moving heavy furniture on my vinyl sheet flooring.. can anyone recommend some type of clear epoxy that can strengthen the rips I made? Someone had recommended superglue laid with wax paper on top, if there's not a better alternative out there for this.

There is no way to make a repair that is unnoticeable. Professional floor people replace the damaged portion of the floor they don't try to repair it. However if you just want to reattach it almost any type of adhesive will work. The best results IMO would be something that stays flexible like contact cement or rubber cement or Goop for shoes. I ended up using the original gorilla glue, seems to have worked okay. I was primarily concerned about sealing it to prevent water from seeping through, it's not pretty but it seems solid enough

Just an FYI vinyl flooring is not waterproof if water sits on it long enough it will soak though. However if you wipe up spills promptly you won't have any issues. Highdesertranger

There is an product called Seam Seal that will repair tears. My question would be what caused the tears and could one future tears.
Harm reduction.

Thanks for the suggestion on the seam sealer! I've read good things about those used on tents.

The flooring was actually very durable, one day I was a bit too confident though. I was transporting really heavy furniture, 100+ pounds and angled it so the edge was digging right into the floor. Nowadays I don't ever let anything heavy slide across the floor without a sheet of plywood over it. I hope no one else makes my mistake.
