Normally $219 they were marked down $30 this very morning (black friday). I almost bought one yesterday, I *did* buy one today (whew!)
Renogy® 100W Monocrystalline Bendable Solar Panel

How do these compare to their regular 100w panels?

I only have rigid panels, but I suspect they will be equal for the most part

Rigid 100w panel stats:
Maximum Power: 100W
Maximum System Voltage: 600V DC (UL)
Optimum Operating Voltage (Vmp): 18.9V
Optimum Operating Current (Imp): 5.29A
Open-Circuit Voltage (Voc): 22.5V
Short-Circuit Current (Isc): 5.75A
Dimensions: 47 X 21.3 X 1.4 In
Weight: 16.5lbs

Bendable panel stats
Maximum Power: 100W
Maximum System Voltage: 600V DC (UL)
Optimum Operating Voltage (Vmp): 17.7V
Optimum Operating Current (Imp): 5.70A
Open-Circuit Voltage (Voc): 21.7V
Short-Circuit Current (Isc): 6.10A
Maximum Series Fuse Rating: 15A
Dimensions: 41.3 X 21.3 X 0.12 In
Weight: 4.4lbs

Slight variances in the voltage and size, but the only real difference is in the weight savings (1/4 the weight) and aero profile (1/10th the height). They also will not break from hail or rocks (no glass) but are prone to scratching/cutting so you would want to make sure not to park under low trees.

Interesting... Think I will need to grab me some of these!

How do you plan on mounting these? Direct to the roof, or on a piece of plywood, or are you just going to pull it out and use it when boondocking?

I have two rigid ones mounted up top right now, which I'd like to remove, install a hinge on them, and use them as a briefcase system (easily angled towards to sun) for when I am boondocking only. Then mount the flexible panel to the top of my fiberglass topper (which is gently curved). Not sure just yet how I will do that.

It looks like six new holes in your 'glass or mount them to a metal frame and use the stand off legs (z brackets) then you cOuld get away with only 4 holes. Gluing it down might be an option, too. Either way, those panels are sweet, 20% efficient, so when space is tight, they'll give a lot of bang for your buck.

hmm...technomadia did an article on flexis, they were able to test many and didnt seem to like any of them
